April Pet of The Month

April Pet of the month is Rudy!

My full name is Rudolph Valentino Parr-Ehret, but you can call me Rudy. Most people do. My father was a handsome champion named CH Maximilian, and my mother, although I don’t remember her name, was even prettier—so that explains my good looks. And no, I’m not grumpy. This is just what Himalayans look like. If you get to know me, you’ll find that I’m really quite happy. Unless I’m hungry and have to wait too long for my food to be delivered.

I was born on October 7, 2007, so I’ve been around long enough to see a few things. I lost a couple of siblings along the way, which I can’t say I grieved too much, since I prefer to have the humans all to myself. I’ve lost quite a few teeth, too. It’s a little harder to get onto the kitchen counter these days. But the moms give me daily massages and occasional treats, I have soft places to sleep, and I’m even getting attached to the dog who moved in five years ago. I groom myself regularly, so my fur stays plush. I’ve never ascribed to the belief that cats have nine lives. I only need one—and I enjoy it to the fullest, every single day.
