Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time and we will always offer you the chance to reschedule should an emergency come in while you are waiting.

For your convenience, day admission appointments are available. A day admission means you could bring your pet in leave him/her with us for a few hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, he/she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.  Please allow 5-10 minutes at drop-off to discuss your pet's condition and history with one of our health care team members.

Patient Health & Safety

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to keep your dog on a leash and your cat in a small carrier before entering the Hospital.  We also ask that you allow our trained team members to restrain your pet during examinations to avoid injury to yourself or your pet. For the safety of our team and the rest of the animals in our care, all pets who are hospitalized (for illness, surgery or day admission examinations) are required to be current on their State-mandated Rabies vaccine.  They are also required to be free from fleas and other parasites.
