Boarding Policies:
Print our Boarding Agreement for complete policies - please complete and bring with you to your Meet-n-Greet appointment.
Cancellation Policy
Due to increased demand for our boarding services, we are required to implement a 48-hour cancellation policy on major holiday weekends (Thanksgiving, Christmas period, Memorial Day, Labor Day) and the months of July and August.
Health Policy
To ensure the protection of all pets under our care, we require written verification that animals are up to date (within 12 months) on following vaccinations:
- Dogs: DHLPP (combo), Rabies and Bordatella (for kennel cough)
- Cats: FVRCP (combo) and Rabies
We are able to administer these vaccinations for you if needed.
To reduce the risk of spread of disease, we are sorry that we are unable to feed raw diets of any kind.
One of the unfortunate, but common, side-effects of boarding is diarrhea. This is generally caused by the stress of being away from loved-ones and a pet's regular food and routine. You are encouraged to bring your pet's own food if you suspect a change of diet may cause an upset of the digestive tract. If you pet does experience any diarrhea, our staff will follow a specific feeding and supplement program to try to manage the problem without further medical care. If the diarrhea persists, if it contains blood, or if your pet is also vomiting, we will have one of our veterinarians peform an exam and possibly prescribe further medication. The costs for these treatments will be added to your account and will be due upon discharge.
We also require all pets under our care to be free from fleas and other parasites. If fleas are found on your pet, he or she will be treated at your cost.
Check-Out Time
Check-out time is 12:00pm. For stays past the check-out time, an "Extended Care Fee" of 1/2 the nightly rate will be charged.
Other Policies
We feed Science Diet pet foods to our boarding guests; however, please feel free to bring your pet's own food if you would prefer. Just provide us with detailed feeding instructions (quantity, freqency, etc.) and we'll make sure they maintain their feeding routine during their stay with us. We are sorry that we are unable to accomodate requests to feed raw diets. We will provide plush bedding and toys for your pet.
We rarely have to turn away a pet for temperment issues. However, due to the hands-on nature of our boarding services, we reserve the right to refuse service to any animal due to agression towards humans or lack of training which makes care-taking especially difficult.
After-Hours Pick-up/Drop-off
In addition to our regular operating hours, we have times available for drop-off and pick-up as follows: Saturday 3-4pm Sunday 10-11am and 3-4pm.
